EQUIPPED FOR SPORT????

Hi guys!!!

There is an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence on the positive effects of sports and physical activity as a part of a healthy lifestyle. I know most of you are fond of sports aren´t you? I want to know how sport influences your life and if you consider it positive or negative. Before making your comment about this issue, watch this video and take into consideration the information displayed in it to explain your sport habits. I will be more than happy to take into account your comments and the things that impressed you most about it.

  1. Hi everyone, now we are going to talk about the force of sports. In my case, I swim, and when I do it I feel confortable and very confident and I swim faster and faster to improve my scores. I think that sports are a very good thing to improve all your facts, like in the school that you are a better student if you do sports, or working raising or carrying things like in a building site, you have more strenght and more endurance. This also helps you with your self-steem because you need also to be a good athlete, I mean, you need to know how to behave if you lose a match or to shake your hand with the other people in the other team, this kind of things are only taught in sports.

    I think the influence of sports in our daily life is so important because without it we wouldn't be as healthy as we are (psychically and physically). Practising some sports can give you the self-steem you need or the self-steem you lost because of an amount of different problems. Also, it makes your mind relax when you are worried about too much things and don't know how to manage them. It's the best option if you have an important exam or have to make some important decisions, because like I said before, it makes your brain less dizzy when you are stressed and you can think better. It helps making new friends as well because when you go training or to a match, you meet new people who have the same hobbies as you so it will be easy to make a conversation with them. Maybe it makes you have less time to do other things like studying, but if you organize your time, I think you can actually make it work. So, I think the soprt is a good important issue in our lives.

    I think sports are very important in our life, not only because of your appearance but also because it helps you to organize your main, I mean, when you are doing this sport you like you are thinking about the sport and you forget almost all your daily problems. Sport helps you to relax and forget that you have a Maths, English or Science exam the next day.
    In my case, I can’t explain how it helps me or not because I practice Surfing in summer or in some long weekends. Well, sometimes with my friends or family we go to the mountain or we play some sport but we don’t do the same regularly. This could be a type of motivation like: “If you don’t pass everything you won’t surf” so I have to pass everything at the high school. Also is true that if you go training with more people is very easy to be friends because you share hobbies like this sport and maybe more.
    So my conclusion is that you must practice at least one sport because is good for you. You can practise it in summer or all year, but it will help you anyway.

    In my opinion the sport is good for our lives. All of us need a way for feeling better, and we can find it in some sports, in music or even watching films or reading books.
    I know that, maybe, is difficult to have to study and train at the same time(in a day) but if we know how to organize this, we can make it.
    We just can't be in a chair reading and learn something. The sport should be always with us. Is not only because is healthy, that this is one thing that all of us know. It's because of us, because do a sport can make us happy.
    From young ages, we practicase one sport. Maybe we don't do it regularly, but we are not sedentaries.
    In summary, sport has to be always present in our lives, there are more things that the mobile phone!

  5. Hi everyone! how are you?
    I think the sport is important for us because we do many friends, you feel better, your will have a stable healthy, its too fun... and many other things that can be better for our body and for our brain but there are other negative "effects" like we will be hurt or for exemple we lose the time to study and this "effect" will decide if your parents want you to do sports or no, but the parents are wrong, the sports can be a source of intelligent, scientiscs are telling parents to send then to sports because can make children more intelligent.
    Exercise is very important in old age too, because it can help then to remember things.
    For me the sport is very important because everyday I do one hour of it since I was very young and it helps me to study things quicker and also I control the time of study so I have a lot of time to study it and not spending few hours doing nothing. I recommend you to do sports, will be better for your mind and your body.

  6. HI, WHAT´S UP???
    I believe that sport is essential to the development of our lives and the sport is all positive. because,What drawbacks does sport has? . For me, positive things about the sport are: meet a lot more people and interact with them to have more friends, have a good physique and do not have other diseases such as obesity or cardiovascular problems and other new thing that has been recently discovered, is that the realization of the sports helps in the concentration.
    for example, when I'm stressed because the teacher go overboard of exams and we have to spend all day in the room swoting up and we need a break, what I do is to do sports because I disconnect my head of studies and I calm down, and also when I return form doing exercise and I get to start studying again, I have more concentration on what I'm studying.
    Besides all these things, the sport helps to increase your self-esteem and confidence in yourself.
    Many people believe that sport is not necessary and they are totally wrong , and others find it hard to do , but they really realize that sport is one of the most important things in life when they have a go of it. you know better than to be a jock is one of the better things in the life

  7. Hi everyone I think that exercice It´s good for our body. I´m a football player I feel well when I do football I improve my skills every day but I think that sports are good but for the school some people do sports and in the school goes wrong whit the marks . I think that sport It´s to relax our main and think about other things. But when you are studying for an exam and you need a break It´s good to do sport because you disconnect from studies. If you do an sports and you combine the school to I think will be good for your marks.
    And the last thing it´s that the sport can give you the self-steem that you need if you don´t have self-steem
    I think that if you do sport combine with the school you get better marks than If you donñ´t do exercice. I think It´s not totally truth but the sport It´s good for you and your body

    In my opinion, practicing sport is one of the most important things of the life, because it helps you to keep in shape and also you do other things like making friends and you generally feel happier. I sometimes go cycling and when I do it I feel good, because you notice how you are working your body and how you are doing a healthy habit, and you can also discover new places that you had never seen before. Some years ago I went to a bikers club called “Dori Ruano”, and it was great to go around the places and sites that you can find around Salamanca, and also I made new friends and I learned to ride better on a bike and how to fix small technical problems.
    As for the video, I think that the things that it says are totally right because sports helps you in a lot of aspects, like the increase of two areas in the brain, which helps you to have more capacity of memory; another aspect that you improve practicing sport is the self-esteem, because in the sports, normally you have some goals that you want to reach, but to do so you have to work hard, and that has a relation with the “quantity” of self-esteem that you have. Also, practicing sports and obtaining good results isn’t easy, because you have to have a basic notion of what you’re playing and know how to play it; also there are some people who have special abilities and genetic capacities which make it easier for them right from the start.
    So the conclusion is that practicing sports is good in all the aspects that it has, but like everything, in excess it is bad.

  9. Hello everybody!!
    I have to say that sport is very, very important for me. And it isn't only because it helps with our physical appereance, it's because I relax with it and I feel free, because I forget all my troubles.
    I looove all type of sports. I do some like basketball, tennis, roller skaiting, swimming, ping-pong, running, dance... Some regulary and other in summers. But I want to lear a new ones.
    For example, I love basketball, I only have play if for three years but it has helped me a lot. A lot in different aspects. (One was to be asmy team mates, because they have played basketball for a lot of years, 5-6 years. So I wanted to be as good as they were. This means that I had to learn very quikly and the same things that hey know but everythig in one year and be at the same level as they. So I had to worke very hard)
    The first time a took a basketball ball I was very young, maybe 5 years. My brother were playing with one friend of him, and I was with they. He put me in his shoulders and he gave me the ball. I took the ball and, exactly, I was next to the hoop. The only thing that I had to do was drop the ball inside, but I fail. I fail and I was next to it. Above it!!! I still freaking out! But it teach me one thing : to surpass myself in every activity I do.
    So with this, I want to explain, that you can be very bad in a sport the first time but, if you continue working hard, you will be very good. Basketball has helped me in a lot in different aspects, for example: that we not always win; that we have to be respectful with other people, inside and outside the team; that with pacience we can learn, we can improve everything.
    Also you feel good with yourself, so you improve your self-steem. Somedays you feel bad because you are training bad (like we sometimes fail exams) but you aren't alone, you have your team mates to help you as you have your friends in class.
    Everytime I play a match and everytime we scream our "war cry" I fell very confortable, because we look like a family.
    A sport also helps to organize your time because you have to do a lot of things, like homework, study for exams, help at home... ; to concentrate in an activity, like study, read or cook; it helps in your coordination when you are doing things ; it helps to improve your reflex, something very important in a sport and that helps you in you daily life ; it helps to make friends that have the same hobbies as you ; to surpass yourself in every activity you do ; other imprtant thing (and I think one of the most importants): to be competitive. You have to be competitive, you have to show to the rest of the peolpe, to the rest of the world, that you want do that thing, that you want and you CAN do it and you CAN fight for it.
    In my opinion sport it's one of the most important things in my dayly life and I encorage all the people that don't exercise to start doing it. Never it's to late and it will help a lot.

    I think sport is a vey good wey to calm yourself if you are stressed, many people do sport for competition, and this is good because you feel the need to win and you use all your energy to do it but i think that sport is better only like a hobby because you enjoy it more
    About the video I think that we can do it different things to convince the people that sport is so important because if we do spot and we have a healthy life we going to live longer and probably better.for childs is a very good form to improve their skills and to make friends.An other important thing about sport is that you can have better marks in the school probably because if you do sport you feel more relaxed and for finish is a very good gesture form Michelle Obama to make a discourse about the good things of the sport

  11. HELLO EVERYBODY!!!
    I think sports are one of the most important activities in our lives. They can help us with a lot of things, like keeping fit, with your self-steem, improving your efficiency at the school.
    I practise rythmic gymnastics and I think it's very hard. You must train a lot of hours for getting all you have to do and going to the championships.
    Some days I have to train when I am at home and I have leisure time.
    But I think that the days when I train I organize better and I do the homeworks or study faster than other days taht I have more time. I think that is because I am so estressed because I haven´t got enough time to do it all.
    This sport helps me to forget a little bit the rest and relax, for example when I have an exam I go training and I think in other things and not only in the exams, homework...
    It helps me with my self-steem because in the Castille and León championships you have to do it very good because you have many opponents and it´s like a proof to pass to the spanish championship.
    It teachs you to win and also to lose, because there are a lot of girls and It´s very difficult to pass to the spanish championship. The bad thing of this is that you compete against your friends... and this makes you a little bit competitive.
    In all the sports in general, other good things are the friends you make.
    In gymnastics you pass a lot of time with people that at the beginig you don´t know nothing about them... and finally they become almost like your sisters.

  12. Hi classmates!!

    How are you? As you all probably already know, I play football in an official team, Cristo Rey (it’s not about priests). I usually train around 4 hours a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

    Working out not only helps me to get fit, but also helps me to break away from school, homework and exams (almost every day). When I’m usually overwhelmed or stressed I exercise. When I’m ill I exercise. When I’m frustrated I exercise to take out all my anger on it. To sum up, when I’ve a problem I exercise.

    I respect those people who aren’t keen on sports because they think it’s a commitment or just because they’re idly, but I’ll advise them to take up at least one sport. Over time, they’ll see it’s such a rewarding experience and they’ll be hook on it forever.

    The sports have a lot of possitive effects, I think there aren't negative effects. I do sport for having fun and for to be with my friends. Also it helps you to relax, because it makes you to be concentrated in the match, if you have a lot exams it's very important to relax a little, you can be less stressed while you are doing the exam. I think the sport doesn't makes you more intelligent as the book says. Also the sport is very good for keep in fit, one hour of sport per day makes your heart work better and improve the flow of your blood. The sport is the healthiest activity, and the best is that you can do it in every moment in every place. I think I have explained it well.

    Actually I don't play any sport, but when I was younguer I did rythmic gymnastics and when I was eleven years old I started swimming, but this year I didn't continue doing it.
    Really I don't think that doing sports is good for our brain because I don't feel more motivate for studies but I think it also depens on the person. I'm not saying that I don't like sports because I really love them (except some of them) because practising sports with my friends it's very funny and it's also good for our body.
    In relation to the video I think that what Michelle Obama did is a good way to say to the people, especially to the young people, that sport it's good and it isn't bad.

    In my opinion it is a very good subject for all to talk about. I have always been playing any tipe of sports, handball, futbol, league of legends and all kind of sports.
    I agree that sports it is a good way to get healthy, and a good way to interact with new people, but I see a big problem with some sports
    In my opinion kids at this time take sports too seriously and they are too competitive.
    And it makes them to agresive. I think that sports is a great way to spend time but you have to play sports as you should

    How are you?
    Well, in my opinion, practise a sport is a good way to get a good physical form to get better marks than we have now. I don't practise any sport but I would like dance like salsa or these type of dances because I don't know I could be another person I feel very well even if I'm doing silly things. I think if I exercise the ming I'll get very good marks because I not going to be thinking about the study I mind I will clear me by an hour or two.
    I that video I could see very people, even Michelle Obama dancing and making exercise.I think this woman is a very good person in her job and I think it's because she practise sports and when she is going to work she can think better the things she can or not can do.
    When I was younger I was going different sports like rhythmic gymnastics, swimming and tennis. Till two years I played padel I liked because I went with my father and my sister, when I returned home I felt better than before because I had adrenaline and in the field I could leave it.
    Today I feel sometimes very burdened, the reason is because I can't go aout my house, I haven't got any time to practise any sport but when sometimes I can't stand at home I have to go out and walk around the block.

    From my point of view do sport is very good for all thing, I think that the people who play any sport learn easly, and study in a better way, because when you finish doing wherever exercice you feel relax, and you are full of power and you study or do your homework with more enfasis, I mean, better, and calmer.
    Sometimes I am in my house and I have an exam or something to study and I can´t concrentate, It´s imposible for me, but when I return tu my house some days that I have been out for ours, I am in a good way and I have more willpower
    Also, do sport is better for your brain, not only because of your studies or because you learnt a lot, also because you sleep better! some scientist show this, the sport help people to sleep, and if you sleep your brain will be active everymoment of the day.
    Finally, the sport is good for our life and I think that everyone have to do sport as more as posible, only one our or if itis possible one our a day, it´s enough

    In my case sport is a relly important part of my life. I play football, and I know about its physical benefits but... what about other interesting facts in favour of our personality and our mind?
    A football match is a really good class, because a match can be really easy or really hard, and when you lose is when you really know about what are you doing and the importance of it. It teaches you about the enormous effort you have to do to achieve a goal.
    Sport is a really good way to make friends, sometimes the become very important people for you, because if you play for a team your temmates are people with which you spend a lot of time doing what you all like doing.
    At a psychological level sport is also a good motivation to work at school, because when you are studying you know that if you work hard you will have enough time to enjoy doing sport.
    It can also help you to evade from problems related to family, friends or any other things, such as exams at school.
    Sport is a solution for every problem, and if you like any sport, practising it will help you a lot at really different levels.

    I think to do sport has a lot of benefits. From my point of view, doing sport has a lot of benefits, psychological and physical ones. At a psychological level, it is a motivation for studying. When you do sport, you feel better and you forget all your problems. I think doing sport has got other benefits too, such as meet people, do friends and spend good moments.
    At a physical level, it helps you to increase the speed, strength, endurance and flexibility. Your cardiovascular and respiratory system work better and you are in shape, able to do whatever you want!
    I think, while you are doing sport, you feel more freely and better. The problems don't worry and you feel happier.
    Since I do kickboxing three times per week, I ride in bicycle three times a week and I exercise at home from Monday to Friday, I feel better, and I'm feeling better, and I'm getting better results at school, so the conclusion is that doing sport has got a lot of different benefits, so...everyone doing sport!

  20. Hi everyone!!! Well I think that sport is a good way for improving all your skills, not only tbe strength, endurance and balance, also your hard rate your school skills and it also makes you be more relaxed and you fell confortable when you do a sport you like.
    Buy also is necesary to have the appropiated equipement, because it can be dangerous if you ride a bike without a helmet, or if you do boxing without gloves.

    To do sport...I think that it is a good way to have fun and at the same time excercice your muscles and to have a good figure, but also it impruve your way to think and helps you to learn new things and, fot teenagers how are in the university or they are studing is better for them.
    I like a lot do sport because it calm me and relax, and when I finish I feel satisfied. I think that all the people have to practice same sport, It is good for our health and for our studies. I practice swimming every days and if sameone day I don't do any sport is strange because I don't relax to study, and when I do sport before study I do easly and more concentrated.
    But some times do sport can spend time that you need for do other ting, like study, when you have to study a lot and you haven't got enought time, so in that case you must stay at home study and other they go to do sport.
    In conclusion do sport is a good way to live for everyone, it's like laughing, It lenghten your life.

    I think that do sports and exercise is good for us beacause that relax us and also to meet friends and stay with them doing something good for our body and doing fun things. But I don´t think like the video. The video has said that the sport helps in studies but I think is not true. I think that sports remove time of our lives that we could us for studying or to do homework. I think that everybody do sports in after class. But also I think it isn´t a loss time.
    So, to shorten, sports is a good thing for us, it mantains your body in shape, you meet friends and you pass a good time with mates but also it makes you lose time and when you come back home you feel very tired.

    For me, it is very well that we do sport since childhood but I think that it is more important the school than the sport unless that you are very good in some sport.
    I think that do sport is very good to prevente overweight and diseases but the most important thing is the school. if you do sport two or three days per week is ok but if you do sport five or six days per wek it is so much and you can fail the examn and repeat course.
    Conclusion, sport is very good at our live because the sport balance you psychologically and physically but if you do three or two day if you do more it is not so good.

    Hi classmates!!!!! Now I don’t do any sport, but two years ago yes. I feel so good when I finished playing, exercising or something similar, I feel better than when I started. When I played, I spent some time on it that I could use to study, but when I arrived home I could do my homework or study better than now (quickly, more concentrate…).
    Sport probably hides a lot of secrets that now we are finding. It helps you to keep fit, and into have a very good body, but sports helps you even more. Practicing any sport before studying will make you to be more concentrate on it, and you will get better results. A lot o people think that sports aren’t good not only cause of lose time, also as they think that when teens are in a sport team they’re all the time thinking on matches and these things, instead of be concentrated on exams, but it isn’t true at all. May be some of us yes, but not everyone is thinking on it, and they give preference to studying than anything related to sport, so what’s the problem if all things that sports give to you are good?

Hi classmate, sincerely I'm not agree with the video for me that I am a person who practice sport I haven't been more concentrated after I do any sport basically because we are tired when we come back and also for me that I return very late to my house after training I don't have forward to study.
    I think that do sport have many good things for our life but I think that concentrate more after do sport isn't one of those.
