A visitor to our class

On the last day of the term we had a special visitor in our class.  My mom, Linda, came from Chicago all the way to Villamayor!  During the hour with our bilingual group everyone had a great time getting to know each other.  The class began with the students welcoming my mom and giving her an introduction to the course.

Then each student came forward and told a little about themselves, what they like to do, how old they are.  The introduction was complete with a powerpoint filled with pictures for each student!  Then it was my mom's turn.  She told the class about her life and her family; and about different parts of the USA based on where we all live and have traveled!

After, there were questions about life in the USA and the visit to Spain and even some authentic Easter treats for the class.  It was a great visit and I know my mom loved meeting all of you!  You made her feel very welcome and she was really impressed with all the questions you asked and how well you speak and understand English!  Great job guys!!
